On Sunday 7th December Cardinal Keith Patrick O'Brien began the Jubilee Celebrations outside the building in Peebles High Street where the first public Mass since the Reformation was held in 1858.

Fr George Smith concelebrated Mass on Monday 29th December in St Joseph's Church with Fr.Tony McDonald, Fr.John Robinson and Fr.George Rodgers on the anniversary of the first Mass said in this building in 1858.
